ADMINISTRATION & SUPPORT STAFF

Anna has an English and Psychology degree from Texas A&M, a Masters of Social Work from UTA, an English Graduate Certificate from TAMUC, and is certified through ACSI.  She has been working as an educator or social worker for 26 years and has been a teacher/counselor at CCA for 16 years. All three of her children attended CCA from kindergarten until they graduated.  Anna loves making connections with students, helping them develop their faith as their own, and challenging/assisting them in reaching their full potential while also making learning creative and fun.

Jonathan Dowell has been in Education for over 30 years, starting in Special Ed-GT in North Alabama.  He came to CCA 15 years ago to teach Secondary Maths, as well as Brit Lit, Chemistry, Physics, & Computer Science from time to time. In 2021, he took on the Registrar position, with the aid of my dog Mac, who serves as the unofficial school mascot and Final Exam Therapy Dog.

Ashley, a graduate of Cal State Fullerton, is grateful to help in the technology department as she has years of experience helping teachers enhance their lessons with technology as well as network experience.  She has been happily married to Hutton since 2007 and together they have 4 kids: Oakley, Paisley, Quinley and Radley.  She is grateful that a University Model School exists and she is able to spend more quality time with her family.  Ashley is looking forward to the ways in which God will use her at CCA to further His kingdom… It’s all for Him!

Proud parent of 2 CCA graduates, Tage volunteered or has been on staff in some capacity at CCA for 8 years. Third year of managing school café and working with the senior class. Outside of CCA, she is a hair stylist of 30 years at a salon in McKinney and mom of two Honors student at Dallas Baptist University. Her life is fueled by Jesus, friends and chips & salsa….there is always room for more of each. 😉

As the Admissions and Community Life Director at CCA, Dotti’s role includes talking to prospective families about CCA, walking through the admissions process with each family, and helping to create a strong CCA community where each family feels connected and valued. Dotti has a BS degree in Christian Woman’s Ministry and has always felt led to use her gifts to serve the Lord however He leads her. Her husband Brian and her have 3 boys who all attended CCA. The Regier family love this school and the families at CCA!

Aaron Davis joined the staff of Cornerstone Christian Academy in 2011 as Business Manager.  His responsibilities include oversight of all business and operations of the school. Aaron also collaborates with the crisis management team with regards to safety and security of students and staff.

Aaron and his wife, Amy lead a home group through their local church. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and a master’s degree in Education. Aaron and Amy have three children who have all attended CCA.

Blake Dyer serves as the K-12th grade principal at CCA, and works closely with our wonderful teachers, students, and families. His wife, Anna, also teaches here, and their three children currently attend or will attend CCA soon. Prior to the Lord bringing the Dyer family to CCA, Blake served in the McKinney public schools.

Hutton has worked his entire professional career as a Teacher, Coach, and Administrator in private Christian education in California, Colorado, and now Texas. He has taught Math, Science, and PE as well as coached Football, Volleyball, Softball and Basketball. He has also been a Dean of Students and Athletic Director. In 2017, Hutton earned his Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University, Irvine. Hutton has been married for 16 years to his lovely wife, Ashley and they have 4 children that all attend or will soon attend CCA.   

Rebecca attended the University of Central Oklahoma, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and then Western Governors University receiving a Master’s degree in Learning and Technology. She has taught in numerous settings, which include public schools, private schools, and a rural school in Africa. Rebecca is married to Philip and has three adult children.

Pete Van Der Puy serves as the head of school for CCA.  He has been in education for over 30 years, serving as teacher, athletic director, coach, principal, and superintendent for three schools in the Midwest.  Pete has three grown children, a grandchild, and a golden retriever.

Allison has been a nurse for 18 years. During this time, She has specialized in orthopedics, med-surge, women and children services, school nursing, and rural health. She has always loved school nursing, and she is so thankful to be able share the love of Jesus to our students through tangible care. In her time away from the clinic, Allison loves to bake and cook, spend time with her three kids, and play with our red Labrador.

Tony Farmer has served as assistant principal at CCA since 2018. He and his wife Rosalie have a daughter who was a member of the 2022 CCA graduating class. Mr. Farmer spent 33 years in public education before beginning his tenure at Cornerstone Christian Academy.

Angie Foley has been part of the CCA community since 2013 when her two boys started attending the school. She has been an active parent volunteer over the years and joined the CCA staff in 2021. Angie’s roles include Human Resources and Office Aide.

Dana Guleserian has been a part of the CCA family since 2008. Her responsibilities as Office Administrator include meeting the school day needs of the students, parents, faculty, staff, and administrators. She is also involved in organizing the school calendar and providing school communication.

Dana has four children who all graduated from CCA and are proof that the University Model works as each of them are thriving in their respective careers. She is also blessed to wear the title of ‘Gigi’.

Hope and her family moved to CCA when her boys were in 1st and 4th grade. Her oldest son graduated from CCA and her youngest is currently in High School.  She relished the thought of having more time together as a family as she felt very rushed in life during our public-school years. CCA provided the balance that she was searching for along with a strong Christian foundation, which is what they desired.

“One thing I love is that Faculty and Staff meet each morning before school to pray over CCA. I enjoy helping with LEC (Lower Elementary Campus) Administrative duties along with applying Band-Aids and ice to boo boos. I wear many different hats throughout the day and count it all joy. The highlight of my day is getting hugs from sweet students. It is a blessing and privilege to be part of an organization who keeps the Lord #1.” – Hope
